Europe Gets New DS Fashion Game

Milton Keynes - 505 Games today unveils is slinky new number for November, Fashion Designer: Style Icon, for Nintendo DS. The game sits in 505 Games' burgeoning portfolio of ‘lifestyle simulations' and allows fledgling fashionistas the opportunity to conquer the world of fashion via Nintendo DS stylus.

Players take the role of a young designer eager to dominate the catwalk and follows their career from fashion training school, through graduation and beyond. After graduating, players can start a workshop, accept private design contracts, supply small boutiques and set up mail order companies. Design the best fashion creations and players can even supply outfits to the stars and VIP clients.

The comprehensive simulation gameplay is mission based and offers players the chance to present their creations in catalogues and movie posters, and even gives designers the freedom to select which supermodels, hairstyles and creations will strut their stuff on the catwalk.


CIVILIZATION FRANCHISE MOVING TO CONSOLES

2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), announced today that it will publish Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, the first next generation game designed by world famous game designer Sid Meier. Slated for a spring 2008 release for next generation consoles and handhelds, Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is being developed by Firaxis Games, 2Ks world-renowned development studio.

Sid Meier put computer gaming on the map when he delivered Civilization to the gaming world, launching the God Game genre and creating one of the most award-winning and addictive strategy series of all time, including Sid Meiers Civilization IV, the Gamespy and GameSpot 2005 Game of the Year. A group of 16 students are taking on the role of urban planners in a four-week computer game designed by researchers in the University of Wisconsin-Madison department of educational sciences. The game begins June 18 and concludes with students presenting their new vision for State Street, the Schenk-Atwood neighborhood, and the Northside to Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz. .
