Neykov explores serious issues through game design

Vladimir Neykov is incorporating serious game aspects into his thesis project, which he said is geared to provide users with an introspective, character-oriented experience. By Monique Bos Published: Friday, June 29, 2007 High school students who opted to take the Game Design Basics class during the first Savannah College of Art and Design Summer Seminars session received instruction from Vladimir Neykov, who has completed all of his Master of Fine Arts coursework at SCAD and is finishing his interactive design and game development thesis this summer. TRACY CURTIS

They just throw it out there with the M and the L and XL. It's like his whole life flashes before me. Why don't they just put his graduation suit and his wedding tux out there too?

I quickly point to the row of XS, tell him to pick five shirts, then turn my back and gag a little. He's picking out his own shirts. The room starts to spin. But when he presents five solids the nausea subsides as I suggest two solids, two stripes and one with a collar. The control washes over me like cold water.

He pulls on a pair of cargo shorts and the collared shirt. He looks like a teenager. I'm nauseous. What do you want to do now, go get your driver's license? I get some relief when he gets to the pants, as there seems to be hope that he'll be taller than his parents. But heading over to sleepwear, we pass the infant section.
