| Civilization Exploring Next Gen Territory
After years of feeding a large base of dedicated PC gamers, Sid Meier are once again scouting out some new territory for their classic Civilization franchise (after several so-so attempts on previous consoles). Though no systems were specifically mentioned in the press release, the trailer confirms Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution is being prepped for Xbox 360 and PS3. Given the point-and-click nature of the gameplay, we can’t help but hope that a Nintendo Wii version of Revolution is in the works too. Unfortunately, with the game’s release tentatively set for spring 2008, we probably have a long wait until we’ll know for sure, though we may hear something at E3 this July. For now, you can read the official announcement of Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution in the press release included below: New York, NY – June 28, 2007 – 2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.
